From the moment she penned her first story in the 4th grade and presented her inaugural sermon in the 9th grade, Hilerie's dedication to literature has only grown, leading her to curate an impressive collection of books that reflects her passion. The inspiration for this unique venture also stems from joyful moments spent in cozy tea rooms with her mother, where they enjoyed delightful "Mother daughter days," savoring warm cups of tea and quality time together. It was during one of these reflective moments that Hilerie received a divine vision, compelling her to transform her dream into reality, and thus, Reparations Books and Cafe was born—a special place where fellow readers can gather, explore and celebrate their shared love for books and tea.
